I am a Captain serving in the Indonesian Army. I graduated from the Military Academy in 2000. I was deployed to Aceh (2002-2003) as a Platoon Leader as part of the Task Force responsible for counterinsurgency and stability operations. Then I was assigned to Lebanon for a UN peacekeeping mission (2006-2007) shortly after the outbreak of the 34-day war between the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Hezbollah. I have just recently completed my 6-month training in the Maneuver Center of Excellence in Fort Benning, US. I am currently  stationed at the 17th Airborne Infantry Brigade of the Indonesian Army Strategic Reserve Command (KOSTRAD) as the Chief of Operations.
